'At Gervanne Camping campsite, you don't have to choose between the river and the pool because you can enjoy one and the other as you like and according to the time of day: cool off in the pool, laze by the river with a good book, skim stones on the water with the children, paddle at leisure.'
The site's 200m² swimming pool includes a children's paddling pool and a spa for relaxing. Preseason, the pool is heated to 25° using a solar and electric heating system. Swimming lessons are available with Florent, the site's lifeguard. (Swimming shorts are not allowed)
The Drôme runs along the lower reaches of the campsite, offering a natural setting that's ideal for relaxing, bathing and canoeing. Sunset by the river is an opportunity to experience a magical moment.
Just in front of the bar terrace, the waters of the Gervanne converge after an old mill, forming a pretty waterfall. Two hundred metres upstream of the bowls court, lie other small waterfalls just waiting to delight the eye.
The Gervanne, a small river somewhat cooler and more untamed, attracts several bird species such as the kingfisher and the dipper. It's a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts: home to brown and chub trout, gudgeon and burbot. (Drôme: category 2 waters, Gervanne: category 1 waters: www.federationpeche.fr/26)
